Conor was trained by tradesmen whose own training went back to the 1960s. He understands the fundamentals most modern plasterers skip — and it shows in the work that's still standing years later.

It's the final two or three percent that separates a competent plasterer from a master one — and that's the territory the studio has spent its career trying to live in.
The Australian influence — laser-levelling, days spent setting out before a trowel goes near a wall. That mindset runs through how CMG approaches every job.
Every finish goes through a rigorous sampling process. Three identical control samples are made — one for the showroom, one for the site, one for the client — so everyone works from the same agreed truth. No ambiguity about what was approved.
Approved-applicator status with Clayworks, Four Crater and Belworks isn't given out — it's earned through consistent, certified work. That status sits behind every project we take on.
